The Grey Area beginnings can be traced back as for as 1991 when, as a film student, a young Alex Salter would experiment with sound in his college studios. Since then, he has taken part in many festivals globally has released 4 albums and many tracks for different compilations. Psy-Harmonics have described his sound as one of the few Australian artists that meets their standards for quality chilled tunes. Grey Area is currently in production towards another full-length release ... a fusion of ambient dub, funky rhythm, and sublime electronics
