Painkiller is Roy Engel.
Roy Engel (a.k.a Painkiller) started his musical career at a young age studying music, playing piano and later on beating the drums and experiencing rock’n`roll adventures.
With the rise of Electronic music in the 90s he got really inspired and started to develop electronic beats.
Painkiller’s tracks provide sharp edition of computer technologies, tight mix, dynamic grooves and fat bass lines.
You can recognize musical elements connecting the trance music of these days with instrumental and classic music from different times such as Opera, Flamenco, Rock’n’roll and more....
Painkiller’s first Studio album “Brainwash” was released on 2007 including dance floor smashers such as HardFloor, Dont Tell Ma (vs Bliss), Format, Flam&Co and more.
The second Studio album “License to Heal” was released a year later including remix and few colaborations with slug, naked tourist and more.
The Third Studio Album “Duty Freak” was released November 2010 including 9 Pure Painkiller`s with warm sound, important buildups, some Flamenco touches and Solid Dance floor beats !
All 3 Albums were released on NUTEK Records, and the 3 Painkiller compilations were released on Nutek (Flamenco mania), 3Dvision (Hardfloor) and Phantasm (Time is Now).
