As with their previous releases, Primate is a real smorgasboard of dance genres, from thumping beats and manic synths to moments of blissed out lushness, all with a healthy dose of pure psychedelia. The band's unique style is brought ever closer to the listener, taking them on a journey through highly detailed soundscapes, with strong production standards complimenting the live musicianship on display.

This is their most accessible album to date and has been filling dancefloors and attracting fans all across the globe.

The Zubzub sound incorporates an epic musical feel, complex programming, deliciously-groovy dance rhythms and bass-lines all infused with live musicianship. They seamlessly blend an eclectic variety of styles and genres; trance, drum and bass, techno, breaks and dub all feature and are tinged with pure psychedelia. Also in the mix is a distinct taste for ethnic instruments and influences.

The band have played hundreds of gigs, with multiple appearances at the Glastonbury and Glade festivals, along with headline appearances at the likes of Off the Tracks, Solfest, Sunrise, Waveform, Offworld, Antiworld, Eden, Wickerman and Knockengorroch to name just a few.

ZUBZUB have also played at the renowned Brixton Academy and have performed alongside some of the best-known names in electronica including; The Orb, Eat Static, System 7, Banco De Gaia, Dreadzone and Shpongle. They also regularly appear with the foremost names in UK club nights and have ventured in to Europe playing from Amsterdam to Budapest.
