Over 3 years in the making, in “Weightless Hours” Les Scott moves away from the pure electronica of his debut “Altered Carbon” into electro-acoustic territory, ranging from slow motion crackling grooves to post-classical and fourth world soundscapes.

Engrained with field recordings, “Weightless Hours” is the music of wintry river pathways and rain-filled deserted quays; once, but no longer, the point of arrival for exotic cargoes.  Throughout “Weightless Hours” there is a singular obsession with detail and surface.
